    Hi Peter,

    This unit does have a configurable grid or solar input priority meaning you would be able to only use PV power during the day, but keep in mind you would need to correctly size your PV array in this case.

    The ES model is a high voltage unit allowing a bigger PV array and has an integrated UPS.

    You would be able to add batteries at a later stage.

    Hi, this would depend on your battery, the limit is more on the battery side, if you have a 1C battery (PylonTech US3000C) then you can charge it the same rating as the battery. If it's not then it's typically 50% of the capacity. Hope that makes sense.

    Hi Rodgers, 

    You will need to have a 48V battery bank, and you will need to ensure you have enough panels to make up the minimum of 60VDC of the operating voltage.

    Hi, if your appliances exceed the 3kW the power will pass through, however, this has a maximum of 6000VA. My recommendation is to use our Online Solar Calculator to determine the right size inverter.

    If you have batteries (which is required for this inverter) it will switch over when the grid goes down.

    Hi, this is an Off-Grid inverter, you will batteries to this type of inverter yes. Hybrid inverters are somewhat different to Off-Grid, same principle but with additional functions.
